Sweden pledges additional investigation of Nord Streams blasts
MOSCOW, Oct 28 (PRIME) -- The Swedish Security Service will conduct an additional investigation with army support after blasts on the Nord Stream pipelines, the authority said in a statement on Friday.
"The prosecutors have decided to investigate the pipeline additionally. Further investigation activities on the pipelines… will be fulfilled with support of the Swedish military forces," the authority said.
On September 26, blasts ripped through two Russian gas export pipelines running to Europe, Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2, simultaneously. Germany, Denmark and Sweden do not rule out sabotage. Russia’s Prosecutor General's Office initiated a case of an act of international terrorism.
